Minimalism


This week we paid homage to the most important German composer since Beethoven, Karlheinz Stockhausen, who passed away today at the age of 79, by playing music that radically defied his aesthetics: minamlism.

We were faced with many technical difficulties during our Thanksgiving show covering "post-tonal" music. As a result, we decided to improvise a piece with whatever the station had to offer, namely two microphones and a bass drum with some sharpies.
